It is easy to adapt to virtually any boat type. We used it recently on a river crowded at night with large boats and felt safer and more secure with this sculptural light. Highly recommended.

Product Description:
Simply put, there′s no better or safer light for paddling, rowing or boating after dark. The Kayalite is a portable, high-visibility LED stern light, deck light and anchor light for kayak, canoe, powerboat, sailboat, dinghy and inflatable. The Kayalite is equally capable of serving as an anchor light, stern light, or as an emergency spare.
Unlike suction-cup or rigid-mount products, the Kayalite can take a blow if you happen to catch it on a branch or roll your kayak through a bed of reeds. A tension cable holds the mast upright while preventing it from snapping or accidentally detaching.
The Kayalite quickly clips onto any existing eyelet or pad eye on your kayak or boat deck. The Kayalite can be secured onto a kayak′s afterdeck, atop a motor housing, on a canoe or dinghy bench. You simply pull the tension cord taut with a single hand and cinch it on the Kayalite′s built-in jam cleat.

Specifications:
The Kayalite is integrated with a Tektite Mark III bright white LED marker light, bolted to the Kayalite's base with marine-grade stainless steel hardware. The Tektite Mark III light provides 2-mile visibility per USCG Rule 22 regulations, lasts 200 hours on a single set of batteries, with an LED life rated to 10,000 hours of service. Its 3 AA batteries (included) are easily replaced without having to unbolt the light from the Kayalite mast. The Kayalite stands 18 inches tall (45 cm) and weighs approximately 11 ounces (312 g). Ship weight is 1.5 lbs.
